Overview

DRRS-A Training Instructor:

This position supports the United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) in its mission to prepare conventional forces and provide a sustained flow of trained and ready land power to Combatant Commanders in defense of the Nation at home and abroad.

 

Location: Fort Bragg, NC

 

Travel: Local/5-10%

 

Period of Performance:  This is a contingent offer pending contract award!

Responsibilities

Desired Knowledge and Experience:

  • Have a general knowledge of mission, concepts and operational requirements of US Army, including active force, Army National Guard and US Army Reserves
  • Have a working knowledge of US Army, including active force, Army National Guard and US Army Reserves mobilization/demobilization, deployment/redeployment and unit readiness current mission sets and operational business models and practices
  • Have a working operational and technical knowledge of US Army, including active force, Army National Guard and US Army Reserves concepts of mission planning/execution and unit readiness
  • Have a technical and operational knowledge of mission centric software applications relative to US Army mobilization/demobilization, deployment/redeployment and unit readiness
  • Have a general knowledge of Joint Staff and sister service equivalent mobilization / demobilization, deployment/redeployment and unit readiness command information systems
  • Senior level skill set in Project Reporting. Contractor shall provide a monthly performance and progress report, to formally advise Government on specific tasks completed using best practice reporting models
  • Senior level experience in developing DRRS-A training program scenario-based Programs of Instruction (POIs); including mobile training team (MTT) training packages, Software Users Manuals (SUMs), Executive level overviews, basic and advance level soldier and civilian POIs
  • Senior level experience in leading a team to test, evaluate, and integrate new and updated mission software applications concepts to DRRS-A training program
  • Senior level experience in staff coordination with specific government point of contacts for each mission application manager to ensure currency of course curriculum
  • Senior level experience in staff coordination with Army level Project Managers (PMs) for each DRRS-A mission application to ensure currency of course curriculum
  • Manage student registration via FORSCOM provided Web Portal services

Qualifications

Minimum Security Clearance Level:

Candidates must possess a final Secret Clearance, which must be verifiable in JPAS.

 

Minimum Education and Experience:

Have five (5) years or more of leading training sessions / lead instructors’ experience within a classroom environment or equivalent.
