Source Analyst III to support the GPS/PNT Functional Capability Board
Source Analysts support the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processes to include analyzing Combatant Commander, Service, or Defense Agency issues and analyzing capability documents such as Initial Capability Documents (ICDs), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), Capability Production Documents (CPDs), Joint Concepts, White Papers, & Concepts of Operations (CONOPS). Further, provides comments and recommendations to action officers for consideration and provide written draft assessments of assigned topics, such as identified capability gaps and on-going/future assessments. Source Analysts will analyze proposals, assess new capabilities and propose recommendations to fill gaps.

FCB Specific Task Duties:
Support to Joint Staff J6 Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), Global Positioning System (GPS) and Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) section.
Desired Experience Includes: GPS/PNT operations or program, Joint Staff, OSD, Service, or Combatant Command experience. Understanding of Joint Staff Requirements Process and in-depth knowledge of JCIDS and the JROC process. Familiarity with Joint Capability Areas (JCAs). Some background in C4/Cyber is helpful. Deployed combat experience a plus.
Must have current Top Secret clearance (based on SSBI completed within the last five years) with SCI eligibility. Clearance must be verifiable in JPAS.
Required Education And Experience:
