Position: Senior Engineer - Policy and Processes

Period of Performance: Six (6) month base began on 9/22/17 with four (4), twelve-month option years
Joint Staff J35 South requires non-personal support services to Joint Staff J35 South Global Force Management Policy and Process Division to analyze/define shortfalls or inefficiencies and deliver solutions to improve systems, architectures and business processes related to critical mission areas of Global Force Management (GFM) , Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX), and Joint Deployment Process (JDP).
The focus of this role is extensive, in-depth policy development, presentation and documentation. The right candidate will be able to develop policy with associated presentation and understand GFM more in strategy than in data-entry.
Takes an individual with patience, excellent reading comprehension and writing skills, and the ability to stay focused on a single task that may take months to complete.
Active Secret, must be verifiable within JPAS.
